Welcome to the LOCUS e-galley submission system. Not all of our reviewers have converted to e-reading, so we may occasionally still request a hard copy. Please only create one upload per book. If you discover an error in the uploaded file and need to update it, please email locus@locusmag.com.
Fill out the applicable fields and upload your e-galley. Make sure to include accurate and current contact information so we can reach you if there is a problem with the file. Cover art should be at least 300dpi. Please provide press release or descriptive information about the book in the jacket copy field.
The best format for the e-galley is epub. We also accept mobi, rtf, and doc files. (Send pdf only if you must: pdf is very difficult to read on devices and may delay or prevent review.) Please provide non-DRM files for review. This system is only used by Locus editors; the files will not be transmitted to anyone who is not a Locus reviewer or Locus editor.
This is an upload and information site for PUBLISHERS ONLY, to submit pre-publication eARCs and e-galleys to Locus Magazine, for review consideration.
Additionally, be sure to send final copies when available to: Locus Publications, 655 13th St. #100, Oakland CA 94612. Final print copies are listed in our Books Received column, and used for our monthly recommendations in New & Notable and for our annual Recommended Reading List.
